Welcome to the forum for the Bristol Tenebrae LARP, just as a quick introduction here are a few community rules which apply to this Forum. These community rules do not apply to any of our other digital platforms, please refer to the relevant rules on those forums.

Game communication
- This Forum is primarily for IC Roleplay, it is not our primary method of communication with the player base.
- Our primary communication platform for the game is the Tenebrae Discord server.
- Other communication platforms are our Facebook Group or our Website (Link to follow).

Social Contract, Lines and Veils and Signatures
- Harm to Children and Non-Consensual Sexual Activities are not permitted to be posted on this forum, even in the private areas.
- At the start of any post that crosses any of our lines and veils might be broken there should be a clear warning that this may be the case in the following format (All Caps and Bold):
'CONTENT WARNING: TORTURE, SUICIDE AND RATS'
The responsibility for including these content warnings are included are on the player, NPC or ST. If you notice posts which do not include content warnings then please flag this to the ST team on Discord with a link to the post and the STs will review and add the relevant warning asap and pick this up with the relevant poster.
- Treat others are you would like to be treated yourself. Trolling and abuse on this forum will not be tolerated.
- IC banter is allowed but should be kept true to setting and within reason and should follow the posting standards as noted below.
- Signatures: Please put your OC name / Character name in your signature. Ideally please also put your OC name into the "Location" section of your profile - this way it will show up on the Members list and will make our lives easier!

Admin/Moderation
- The primary ST team responsible for moderating our content are: Robert, Dave and Waxy. Please contact them in the first instance for any queries or in our #forum channel
- The ST team will not necessarily be maintaining and reviewing content posted here regularly. If you wish to flag something on these forums to the ST team, please do so with a link to the relevant Topic/Post on our #forum channel in the Tenebrae Discord and use @ST in your post to bring it to our attention.

OOC/IC knowledge
- Please bear in mind our social contract and consider that this is a PVP game when posting the public details about your character. Anything posted here may place characters at risk.
- In order to mitigate this risk we have put in place Private Forum areas where IC/OC knowledge should be respected and we ask players to respect what is being posted here.
- Further, players can request additional private forums to be created with access for specific players. Please contact us in your private discord channel with any requests for private forum areas to be setup.
- The NPC team will have access to everything on this forum, in an effort to empower our NPC team to better allow them to play their NPCs.
- For each private forum area there will be an initial sticky post at the start to indicate which Player Characters and which Non Player Characters have access and are present in that particular forum.
- If you wish to post fiction anonymously then please contact the GMs.
- If you believe you have access to a forum you don't believe you should then please don't read anything and contact one of the ST team to ammend your permissions asap.

General Forum Rules
- Posts should be made in the relevant forum, if uncertain where to post then please ask the ST team. The ST team reserve the right to move or delete posts either temporarily or permanantly.
- We would prefer that our users do not 'back-seat moderate', if you see something that you think requires action or you have an opinion on how it should handled then please send a message to one of the ST team via Discord.
- Please keep all posts primarily in English, except where necessary for narrative effect
- Posts should have a clear and descriptive subject header to help other Users/STs identify the content

Posting Standards
- IC = In Character, OC = Out of Character
- Text written normally 'like this' is considered IC
- Text written within single brackets is also considered to be normal IC content
- Text written within quotation marks "like this" is considered IC speech
- Text written in italics 'like this' is considered to be IC descriptions of the environment
- Text written in italics and quotation marks "like this" is considered telepathic speech and may require specific indication as to who is able to hear this.
- Text written in bold text 'like this' is considered to indicate physical action by characters
- Text written within double brackets is considered OC content and should normally be in a separate paragraph, preferably with an OC at the beginning '((OC: Like this))'
